About Me

I am a dream-builder and an adventure-seeker with a passion for travel and hospitality. I love seeing the impossible become possible (this is also why I love yoga).  I am a goal-oriented team player with a passion for high-end customer service. I thrive in challenging environments and take pride in problem solving. Communication is my art form and an unbreakable positive attitude is my greatest asset.

I have more than ten years of experience in the travel and tourism industry in North America, Europe and Africa specializing in travel sales & marketing, destination management, and event planning.

I was born in France and grew up in Vermont, USA. I studied Marketing at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. In 2008, I took a break from my position as a Villa Specialist at Luxury Retreats, to travel to West Africa and assist an aid agency with the post-war relief effort. Within a few months, I fell in love with the exotic beauty of the country and realized that aid was not going to catalyze the economic development and job creation the country so desperately needed. At the age of 23, I became the Founder and CEO of Barefoot Liberia in Monrovia; with the mission to encourage Liberians to share their rich culture, history and beauty with the world. I worked with the world’s leading travel agencies to promote Liberia and West Africa as an attractive destination replete with world-class beaches, rain forests and welcoming people. Over my 6 years in Liberia, the company grew into the country’s leading full-service Destination Management Company, coordinating logistics for major international conferences, cruise ships, government functions and events in West Africa. Clients included Hurley, US State Department, and VIPs such as 2 time Oscar  Winner Emma Thompson and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Among our greatest achievements was hosting the first cruise ships to arrive in the port of Monrovia in the last 20 years. This included two visits from the National Geographic Explorer cruise liner.

In 2015 after Ebola devastated the entire West African region, I relocated to Greece to seize the opportunities developing in the quickly growing and newly innovative tourism market. I am currently assisting in the building and development of a yoga retreat, in the small beach-side village of Tertsa, Crete, as well as consulting on Business Development & Sales for a high-end luxury Greek DMC and International Travel Agency.

Seanan, on our ship’s visits to Liberia, seemingly made the impossible happen over and over again. In a country with few resources, she found transportation, people to act as guides, and managed multiple excursions all taking place at the same time for 150 guests. She even arranged the visit of Liberia’s vice president to the ship, something that will not be forgotten by anyone who was there. The result was a great experience for all and a deeper understanding of the place we were visiting. And throughout, she was a joy to work with. Seanan is just wonderful.
